Every Delhiite is a fan of momo, and if you are a non-vegetarian, there is nothing better than chicken momo. Stuffed with minced chicken tossed with spices, this makes the perfect snack to enjoy after the office or college. Check out the recipe.
1 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup water 1 tbsp oil 1/2 tsp salt 250g minced chicken 1 large onion 2-3 green chilies 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 1/4 cup coriander leaves 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tsp sesame oil
Prepare the dough by kneading flour, water, salt, and oil. Keep it aside for 20-30 minutes.
In another bowl, mix minced chicken, chopped onions, soy sauce, coriander leaves, sesame oil, and spices.
Divide the dough into equal portions and stuff it with chicken filling. Make sure the edges are thin.
Keep the momo aside for them to dry a bit before you subject them to steam or hot oil.
Once the steamer is ready or the oil is hot, cook the dumplings. Make sure they are crispy if you are deep-frying.
