Matthew David Wilson, 32, of 519 Princeton Ave. Extension, has been locked up on more that 700 felony counts after hundreds of “images and videos that depicted children in a nude state or having sexual intercourse” were found on his desktop computer, which investigators seized in late January at his Old Lycoming Township home after a family member discovered the pornography, according to Lycoming Regional police Detective Justin Segura, the arresting officer.
“In many of the images and videos, the children are being sexually abused by more than one male (while) their hands are tied,” Segura said in an affidavit. Once the computer was seized, investigators obtained a search warrant so that all computer images could be extracted and preserved for evidence, the detective said.
“Over 700 media files contained images-videos that depicted children that appear to be ages 2 to 12 engaging in sexual acts with adult males and females that are all computer-generated or animated,” it was stated in the document.
Arrested late Tuesday morning on West Fourth Street in the city, Wilson was arraigned before District Judge William Solomon on a total of 741 counts of sexual abuse of children and committed to the Lycoming County Prison on no bail.
