THEY HAVE A LOT TO KEEP IN MIND. ALL RIGHT. THANKS, GABRIELLE. A HARRISBURG MAN IS ACCUSED OF PULLING HIS GIRLFRIEND OFF OF A COUCH BY HER HAIR AS SHE BEGGED FOR HELP, ACCORDING TO INVESTIGATORS. LEE BROWN IS FACING SEVERAL CHARGES, INCLUDING ASSAULT AND HARASSMENT. COURT DOCUMENTS SAY THIS HAPPENED SUNDAY AT THE COUPLE’S HOME IN YORK COUNTY, AFTER THE PAIR HAD BEEN OUT DRINKING. POLICE SAY THEY WERE CALLED AROUND 1230 IN THE MORNING AFTER A RELATIVE GOT A TEXT FROM BROWN’S GIRLFRIEND. WHEN THE OFFICER GOT THERE, THE OFFICER SAYS THE VICTIM RAN OUT OF THE HOME CRYING, SAYING SHE DIDN’T FEEL SAFE BECAUSE SHE SAID BROWN TOLD HER, QUOTE, IF THE POLICE GET INVOLVED, IT WILL END IN A SHOOTOUT.

A Dauphin County man faces charges after allegedly pulling his girlfriend off a couch by her hair at their York County home. Lee Brown, of Harrisburg, is accused of assaulting his girlfriend after they had been out drinking on Sunday, according to court documents."Please help me, call the police," court documents sayPolice said they were called to their home in East Manchester Township around 12:30 a.m. after a relative received a text from Brown's girlfriend that stated, "Please help me, call the police," the documents said. When officers arrived, the victim ran out of the home crying, saying she did not feel safe because Brown told her, "If the police get involved it will end in a shootout," police said.The couple told officers that they had been drinking at the Wago Club, a private -only bar in East Manchester Township, according to police. "He grabbed her by the hair and pulled her of off the couch," court documents sayThe victim said that when they got home, Brown was spraying her with a squirt gun and pouring water on her, according to investigators. When she tried to get Brown to stop, "he grabbed her by the hair and pulled her of off the couch," the documents said. Investigators stated that the victim had scrapes to her leg, ribs and shoulder caused by a coffee table made out of a tree slab that still has the bark on the edges of it. When officers spoke to Brown, he denied any physical altercation and told police he was "just messing around," court documents said.
