Gracie McGraw, the oldest daughter of country music superstars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, took to social media to celebrate Pride Month and re-emphasized her identity as a bisexual woman.
McGraw used her post on Instagram stories to contradict earlier reports saying she had “come out” with an earlier post, saying she always has been open about her sexuality.
“Let me be very clear here ... I’ve been an out and proud queer, bisexual woman and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” McGraw writes in the post. “I have and always will be very vocal about my of LGBTQIA+ rights and the community, but thank you so much to these tabloids for shedding light that it’s Pride Month!”
On Monday, McGraw, 28, posted a story on Instagram saying “HAPPY FREAKING PRIDE. I love being queer," according to the Daily News.
McGraw is an actress and has appeared in the TV series “If Loving You Is Wrong” and also has acted in an off-Broadway production of “Babe,” USA Today reports. She also is in the feature film “Tox,” which has not been released yet.
Tim McGraw, 58, and Hill have been married since 1996 and have two other daughters, Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 23. McGraw and Hill long have been superstars in country music, both selling millions of recordings. Hill has won five Grammy Awards while McGraw has won five.
