The Youngstown State football team will visit Ohio State on Sept. 15, 2029, the schools announced on Wednesday.

It will mark the fourth time in program history that YSU will make the trip to Columbus for a September contest.

The Penguins previously played against the Buckeyes in 2023, 2008 and 2007 at Ohio Stadium. YSU visits Big Ten foe Michigan State this September and travels to Maryland in 2027.

YSU opens the 2025 campaign on August 28 against Mercyhurst at Stambaugh Stadium.
