Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in of volume w2l1e

NEW DELHI: RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 36.32 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 32.01 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 29.46 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 16.87 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 15.08 crore), RattanIndia Infra(number of shares traded: 9.40 crore), Tata Teleservices(number of shares traded: 7.32 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 4.63 crore), Shriram EPC(number of shares traded: 4.61 crore) and PC Jeweller(number of shares traded: 3.48 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:07AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 66.96 points up at 25171.2, while BSE Sensex was up 234.81 points at 82626.53 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.85 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.62 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.62 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.20 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent), Jio Financial Services Ltd.(down 0.78 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.53 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 0.41 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
