Local names recognised in King's Birthday Honours

Kate Shane, Managing Director of Blackpool Tourism Limited and Chair of the Blackpool Tourism BID has been appointed as an MBE.

A number of well-known local figures have been recognised in the King's Birthday Honours list.

The list recognises the achievements of well-known personalities, government employees and ordinary people who've served their community.
