Two men it carrying knives at East Kilbride's Kingsgate Retail Park

Two men have itted carrying knives at East Kilbride's Kingsgate Retail Park.

Jayden Arshad, 21, of Castlemilk, Glasgow, also itted having Class B drug dipentylone with intent to supply others and carrying a personal amount of cocaine.


He and Sonny Sturgeon, 23, also of Castlemilk, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court following the incident on September 14 last year.


The are both first offenders and sentence was deferred until next month for criminal justice social work reports and electronic tagging order assessment.

Sheriff Shirley McKenna told them: "I require reports and assessments given the serious nature of the charges, especially the carrying of blades."
